Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Dundee, is currently looking to recruit a Senior HR Business Partner for an initial 6 month contract with option to extend on a rate of £269.36 - £298.19/day (Inside IR35). This role will be hybrid working with up to 2 days per week in the office.
Responsibilities:
- To support the Head of HR to develop and manage the HR business partnering team providing services to the organisation.
- Provide visible leadership, management and vision for the HR function of the organisation and deliver a cohesive HR support service across the organisation.
Essential Skills:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) qualified.
- Significant experience in managing HR operational work.
- Experience of developing, implementing and managing complex, customer and delivery focused projects and strategies for people-related issues.
- Strong proven track record of successful project delivery of workforce change/organisational development projects.
- Experience of managing a team or project teams.
- Workload planning, prioritisation and allocation experience to ensure sufficient skilled employees are deployed to meet the needs of the organisation.
- Direct experience of working in partnership with trade unions.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice with ability to develop HR policies and procedures.
- Understanding and management ability to deliver multiple projects.
- Understanding of key external developments in HR and the opportunities these offer to the organisation.
