Working as part of a collaborative HR team, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality people service, managing complex employee relations matters, supporting organisational change initiatives and contributing to continuous improvement projects.
Client Details
We are partnering with a well-established not-for-profit organisation that delivers vital community-based services and support to vulnerable individuals.
Due to an internal requirement, they are seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join their People Team on a fixed-term basis.
Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers across a range of employee relations matters
Manage complex disciplinary, grievance, capability, performance, absence and probation cases
Support long-term sickness absence management, Occupational Health referrals and workplace adjustments
Develop, review and implement HR policies and procedures
Support recruitment activity and provide advice on employment matters
Deliver training, coaching and guidance to managers
Contribute to organisational change, consultation exercises and HR projects
Analyse workforce data and produce HR reports to support decision-making
Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an effective and professional HR service
Profile
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience
- Not-for-profit experience
- Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases independently
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Experience coaching and advising managers
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
Job Offer
Hourly rate of £23 - £25 Per hour depending on experience
Flexible hybrid working model
