Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and managers on HR matters.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in HR advisory roles.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies and practices.

Senior HR Advisor Education Sector Leeds - Based on site full-time, no hybrid work available £37,000 - £41,500 Working hours can be flexible from 30 hours per week to 37.5.

Your new role

As a Senior HR Advisor, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality, people-focused HR service across the organisation. Working closely with the Directors of People and the wider HR team, you will support the development of a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture. Your work will directly contribute to our strategic vision by ensuring our people's policies, practices, and processes are effective, compliant, and supportive of staff wellbeing and development. You will be a trusted advisor to our leaders and managers, providing expert guidance on a wide range of HR matters including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, payroll and compliance. You will also ensure that safeguarding and safer recruitment practices are rigorously upheld.

This is a varied and hands-on operational role with involvement in the following :Investigations and hearings, disciplinary, grievance, capability, sickness, redundancy, settlement agreements, TUPE etc. Previous experience of dealing with trade unions would be advantageous but isn't essential.
