Summary: The Senior HR Advisor role at TUI Airline is designed for an experienced HR professional who excels in employee relations within a unionised environment. The position involves providing expert guidance on complex HR issues, leading union consultations, and supporting the implementation of TUI's People Plan. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on complex employee relations issues for Cabin Crew, including grievances and disciplinary actions.
  • Lead or support union consultations and negotiations, ensuring compliance with collective agreements.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to implement elements of the People Plan.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Base Managers on people management and industrial relations.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to analyze workforce trends and develop proactive HR solutions.
  • Support change management initiatives, including restructures and TUPE processes.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices are legally compliant and reflect best practices.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with trade union representatives.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in a senior HR role with a focus on employee relations in a unionised environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment legislation.
  • Ability to influence, coach, and advise stakeholders at all levels.
  • Skilled in handling complex HR cases with professionalism.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage a high volume caseload while balancing project activities.
  • CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with Unions is beneficial.
