Summary: The Senior HR Advisor role at TUI Airline is designed for an experienced HR professional who excels in employee relations within a unionised environment. The position involves providing expert guidance on complex HR issues, leading union consultations, and supporting the implementation of TUI's People Plan. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on maintaining industrial relations and driving strategic HR initiatives to enhance business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on complex employee relations issues for Cabin Crew, including grievances and disciplinary actions.
- Lead or support union consultations and negotiations, ensuring compliance with collective agreements.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to implement elements of the People Plan.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Base Managers on people management and industrial relations.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to analyze workforce trends and develop proactive HR solutions.
- Support change management initiatives, including restructures and TUPE processes.
- Ensure HR policies and practices are legally compliant and reflect best practices.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with trade union representatives.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in a senior HR role with a focus on employee relations in a unionised environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment legislation.
- Ability to influence, coach, and advise stakeholders at all levels.
- Skilled in handling complex HR cases with professionalism.

- Ability to manage a high volume caseload while balancing project activities.
- CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience.
