Summary: The Senior HR Advisor role at a leading UK media broadcasting company involves providing expert employee relations support and managing complex cases within a high-profile HR team. The position is temporary for 8 weeks and offers hybrid working arrangements. Candidates should have a minimum of 12 months’ experience in employee relations within a large organization. The role requires problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex data to improve HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing requests/query resolution service to the workforce at all levels, following defined processes in line with SLAs.
  • Problem-solving complex/escalated queries and issues, offering resolutions.
  • Understanding customer requirements through data review and feedback.
  • Supporting the delivery of planned people programmes and projects.
  • Maintaining systems in line with data protection principles.
  • Producing analysis and recommendations based on data to answer queries.
  • Interpreting complex data sets to make recommendations for improvements.
  • Developing business cases for HR solutions with appropriate costings.
  • Contributing to a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Understanding significant issues affecting the organization, including external factors.
  • Supporting projects as part of a team across the Shared Service Centre and HR organization.

Key Skills:

  • Proven HR Advisor experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience managing high volumes of complex employee relations cases.
  • Ability to handle cases involving disciplinary, grievance, and performance management.
  • Experience in heavily unionized environments and dealing with union officials.
  • Experience with employment tribunals.
  • Ability to deliver HR services over the phone.
  • Legal background in employment law, particularly advising large businesses.
