Summary: The Senior HPC Application Engineer role at Arm involves providing automated project solutions and technical support within the IT Infrastructure and Engineering group. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with technical leads, managers, and engineering teams to provide automated project solutions.
- Support daily ticket systems for common technical issues.
- Contribute to high visibility projects that enhance service security and resilience.
- Utilize the latest technologies to improve operational efficiency.
Key Skills:
- 4-8 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong RedHat skills, preferably with RH Certification.
- Understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Automation, Jira, Confluence).
- Solid grasp of Linux OS fundamentals and performance tuning.
- Understanding of HPC infrastructure and applications.
- Exposure to HPC workload management tools like IBM Spectrum LSF.
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Shell, Python, Perl).
- Experience with cloud technologies in AWS and/or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of infrastructure and application monitoring tools.
- Experience with remote display and interactive technologies.
- Skills in Vulnerability Management and security patching.
- Experience in automating repetitive tasks.
- Experience working in a distributed team environment.
