Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a complex caseload with minimal supervision, acting as advocate in the County Court and Magistrates' Court.
  • Conduct proceedings across all aspects of social housing law, including anti-social behaviour injunctions, possession proceedings, housing disrepair claims, and estate management matters.
  • Act as a trusted legal adviser to Council departments and social housing providers, delivering high-level, strategic and tactical advice on housing law issues.

Key Skills:

  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive Advocate with a practising certificate.
  • Significant experience in local authority or social housing law.
  • Proven advocacy experience in the County Court and Magistrates' Court.

Salary (Rate): £55 per hour

This is a senior, hands-on legal role providing high-quality legal advice, advocacy and representation on complex and high-profile housing matters.
