Senior Health Technology Assessment Analyst

Summary: As a Senior Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Analyst, you will be part of a reputable independent statutory authority in Ireland's Health & Social Care sector. The role involves leading comprehensive HTAs, conducting systematic literature reviews, and managing multidisciplinary teams to enhance evidence-based decision-making in healthcare. This position offers a hybrid work model and is expected to last between 8 to 11 months. You will also have opportunities to contribute to academic publications and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and contribute to the production of comprehensive HTAs and evidence syntheses.
• Draft reports and conduct systematic literature reviews.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret data for health technology assessments.
• Represent the organization in interactions with national and international healthcare stakeholders.
• Develop peer-reviewed academic publications and project management plans.
• Contribute to the development of processes, policies, and quality standards.
• Manage and mentor junior team members.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required.

Key Skills:

• Degree in health services research, health economics, or a relevant clinical area.
• Postgraduate degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Economics, or related fields is desirable.
• Five years of experience in health services research.
• Extensive practical experience in epidemiological analysis, statistical analysis, and data analysis.
• Experience in systematic reviews and evaluating health interventions.
• Ability to lead teams and manage complex projects.
• Experience in writing and editing technical reports.
• Strong communication skills for presenting information to diverse audiences.
