Summary: As a Senior Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Analyst, you will be part of a reputable independent statutory authority in Ireland's Health & Social Care sector. The role involves leading comprehensive HTAs, conducting systematic literature reviews, and managing multidisciplinary teams to enhance evidence-based decision-making in healthcare. This position offers a hybrid work model and is expected to last between 8 to 11 months. You will also have opportunities to contribute to academic publications and mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to the production of comprehensive HTAs and evidence syntheses.
- Draft reports and conduct systematic literature reviews.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data for health technology assessments.
- Represent the organization in interactions with national and international healthcare stakeholders.
- Develop peer-reviewed academic publications and project management plans.
- Contribute to the development of processes, policies, and quality standards.
- Manage and mentor junior team members.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as required.
Key Skills:
- Degree in health services research, health economics, or a relevant clinical area.
- Postgraduate degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Economics, or related fields is desirable.
- Five years of experience in health services research.
- Extensive practical experience in epidemiological analysis, statistical analysis, and data analysis.
- Experience in systematic reviews and evaluating health interventions.
- Ability to lead teams and manage complex projects.
- Experience in writing and editing technical reports.
- Strong communication skills for presenting information to diverse audiences.
