Summary: The Senior Generative AI / AI & ML Engineer role involves designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI solutions, particularly focusing on Large Language Models and Generative AI. This position requires a blend of hands-on engineering and consulting expertise, working with clients in the Banking and Finance sectors to address complex challenges. The role is hybrid, requiring three days in the office, and spans a contract duration of 8 to 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop scalable AI/ML solutions in Python using OOPs concepts and advanced data structures
- Implement Generative AI models, LLMs, and agentic AI frameworks
- Deploy AI models using MLOps tools such as SageMaker, Snowflake, and CI/CD pipelines
- Integrate vector databases and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define problem statements and solution approaches
- Lead teams on project delivery and ensure high-quality, best-practice implementations
- Act as a thought leader, advising on architecture and solution design
Key Skills:
- Minimum 7 years IT experience
- At least 2 years in Generative AI / Agentic AI
- Minimum 5 years in ML/Data Science and Python programming (OOPs, data structures, APIs)
- Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.)
- Experience with cloud AI/ML services (AWS, Azure ML, GCP)
- MLOps / AI deployment experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- API Gateway development and deployment on Azure/GCP (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with vector databases and RAG pipelines (preferred)
- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and automation in AI/ML (preferred)
