Summary: The role of Senior Fund Administrator involves leading a team in equity and fund administration within the investment management sector. The position requires managing complex workflows, collaborating with legal and investment teams, and driving process improvements. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract based in London with hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Equity & Fund Administration team.
- Manage team workload and ensure timely, accurate processing of equity and fund transactions.
- Work closely with legal and investment teams to onboard, monitor, and exit investments.
- Oversee the operational review of equity and fund documentation.
- Analyse private equity fund data and update internal systems accordingly.
- Produce regular reports and insights on the equity portfolio.
- Act as a subject matter expert on equity administration across the business.
- Identify areas for improvement and help implement new systems and processes.
- Provide cover for other operations leads when needed.
Key Skills:
- Experience leading a team within fund accounting, portfolio administration, or investment operations.
- Strong technical knowledge of direct equity and private equity fund structures.
- Familiarity with portfolio systems, ideally eFront.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
