Summary: The role is for a Senior Fullstack Developer with expertise in Python and experience in building Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies. This hands-on position is a 6-month contract focused on developing and shipping next-generation AI features. The developer will collaborate closely with other team members to ensure scalable and well-tested code. The position requires a strong background in MLOps and a proven track record of deploying models in a commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and ship code that may be included in the next release.
- Build and implement new features and tools, focusing on LLMs and Generative AI.
- Innovate and contribute to the design of next-generation AI solutions.
- Work closely with other developers in design and code reviews.
- Ensure code is scalable and well-tested through unit and functional testing.
- Deploy production-ready code with a focus on performance and reliability.
Key Skills:
- Senior-level experience in Python (plus front-end/fullstack experience).
- Proven experience developing and deploying LLM models.
- MLOps practices for deploying models in production.
- Track record of putting code into production in a commercial environment.
- Solid understanding of software design patterns, scalability, and clean coding practices.
- Strong collaboration skills and willingness to participate in design/code reviews.
- Bonus Skills: Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate) for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions.
- API integrations with third-party AI services.
- Basic knowledge of data engineering pipelines.
