Senior Full-Stack React & Node.js Developer

Summary: Templeton & Partners is seeking a Senior Full-Stack React/Node Developer for a 12-month contract in London. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in building scalable applications and a strong passion for modern JavaScript development. This role requires expertise in full-stack development, particularly with TypeScript, React.js, and Node.js, along with a focus on clean architecture and high-quality code delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test & maintain full-stack applications
• Own and deliver features with minimal supervision
• Collaborate with product managers, designers & engineers
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug & optimise application performance

Key Skills:

• Full-stack development with strong understanding of end-to-end application architecture
• TypeScript - extensive hands-on experience
• React.js - building scalable, reusable UI components
• Node.js - developing Back End services & APIs
• Automated Testing - unit & integration testing
• Cosmos DB
• DocumentDB
• PostgreSQL (nice to have)
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, application performance, and security best practices
• Ability to work independently and own features from design to delivery
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS
• Experience setting up or working with CI/CD pipelines
