Summary: The Senior Full Stack Engineer role at Pontoon involves designing and developing web front-ends and back-end services for a new platform aimed at automating the management of complex private assets. The role is based in London and is a 12-month contract with a focus on Java Spring Boot and Angular development. The position is classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional team, including product owner, business analysts, scrum masters and engineering.
- Design and build front and back end components ensuring software is exceptionally well covered by automated testing and software is clean and easy to understand and extend.
- Build with Java Spring Boot and Angular Typescript.
- Ensure an exceptional user experience.
- Ensure seamless integration and communication between front-end and back-end components.
- Expose clear, documented APIs for external integrations.
- Peer review code.
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience in Java Spring Boot and Angular web development.
- Micro-services and micro front-ends.
- Reactive UX front end design patterns.
- High availability and high scalability design patterns.
- GitLab and CI/CD.
- Agile development.

As a senior full stack engineer you will be instrumental in designing and developing web font-ends and back-end services for a new platform built to automate the management of the full lifecycle of complex private assets. Your expertise is expected to be pivotal in ensuring usability, scalability, performance and resilience of this high-profile platform.
Job Responsibilities:
