Senior Financial Analyst

Summary: This Senior Finance Analyst role is a 12-month fixed-term contract within a leading media and entertainment organization, focusing on the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) function in Group Finance Operations. The position involves managing projects, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve operational and strategic goals. The role requires a professional accounting qualification and experience in finance-related projects, with a strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement and communication. The working arrangement is hybrid, allowing flexibility between home and office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage assigned projects in the P2P project pipeline, ensuring timely and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Track project milestones and provide updates to relevant stakeholders
• Support the Compliance & Alignment programme by driving adherence to financial policies and offering technical guidance on Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Assist with the resolution of outstanding issues (“blockers”) and provide recommendations for improvements
• Oversee the governance of an offshore service provider, ensuring accurate, timely outputs and effective communication with the GFO team
• Contribute to ad hoc finance activities as required to support broader business objectives

Key Skills:

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA)
• Experience in both Accounts Payable and General Ledger functions
• Demonstrated ability to manage small-scale finance-related projects
• Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal communication skills
• Skilled in root cause analysis and providing actionable insights
• Working knowledge of SAP
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid, cross-functional environment
