Summary: Robert Half is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst for a temporary role within a global organization. The position focuses on supporting global operations through financial reporting, cost control, and process improvements. The role requires a blend of financial expertise and stakeholder management skills to drive consistency and automation in finance processes. The candidate will work closely with various operational teams to provide financial insights and support strategic planning cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, consolidate, and deliver accurate monthly financial reports and operational metrics.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning cycles.
- Drive consistency and automation across finance processes and reporting tools.
- Ensure robust cost control, variance analysis, and inventory reporting.
- Partner with operations teams (procurement, supply chain, quality, logistics) to provide financial insight.
- Support finance projects, process improvement initiatives, and ad-hoc analysis.
Key Skills:
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent relevant experience.
- Power Query experience – ability to build own reports and model large complex data sets.
- Advanced Excel – lookups, VBA, macros etc.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of SAP and reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI) desirable.
- Proven experience in variance analysis, financial reporting, and handling large datasets.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge at all levels.
- Analytical mindset, proactive approach, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Salary (Rate): £600 daily
