Summary: The Senior Financial Accountant role involves overseeing financial reporting and control for various entities within a top-tier international Investment Bank's EMEA Financial Reporting team. This position is part of a global project and is initially a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension. The role requires a qualified accountant with significant experience in financial reporting and technical accounting within the investment banking sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the delivery of group financial reporting, including annual and half-year reports.
- Production of monthly financial reports under UKGAAP and USGAAP.
- Supporting the annual audit process.
- Balance sheet reporting and reconciliation.
- General ledger reporting.
- Group consolidations.
Key Skills:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a minimum of 4 years PQE.
- Strong knowledge and experience of financial reporting and control, and technical accounting.
- Strong IFRS, UKGAAP, and/or USGAAP experience.
- Experience within a global investment bank.
- Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, or another major ERP system.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
