Senior Financial Accountant - 1 Year Maternity Cover

Summary: This role is for a Senior Financial Accountant on a one-year maternity cover basis with a leading real estate investor in London. Key Responsibilities:

• Treasury management and preparing quarterly forecasts
• Variance analysis and completing statutory and tax obligations
• Preparing analytical reviews of financial results and key performance indicators
• Managing the budgeting process and updating financial projections
• Assisting with control accounts reviews and introducing procedures for junior team members
• Dealing with external auditors for year-end and interim accounts
• Preparation of Board papers and debt workings
• Assisting with year-end and interim group financial statements
• Preparing tax workings and quarterly analysis
• Business partnering with development and asset management teams
• Reviewing bank covenant reports and managing debt facilities
• Managing taxation matters for the REIT and Irish business
• Liaising with tax advisors for compliance and advice

Key Skills:

• Qualified Accountant with several years of industry experience
• Experience in real estate business and understanding of development projects
• Detail-oriented with an audit background
• Proficient in Excel for data manipulation
• Knowledge of reporting standards and real estate taxes (SDLT, VAT, capital allowances)
