Summary: The Senior Finance Officer role involves supporting both the Finance and Membership teams by maintaining finance operations and providing administrative assistance. Key responsibilities include processing purchase ledgers, reconciling accounts, and managing invoicing and debt collection. This role is essential for ensuring the integrity of financial records and supporting the Finance Manager in various tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and process the purchase ledger, including payments and allocations.
  • Input invoices into Sage and prepare payment runs with the Finance Manager.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts and payroll.
  • Process income and maintain the integrity of the Trial Balance.
  • Generate invoices and analyze outstanding debtors.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and maintain books and records.
  • Manage the debtor’s/member’s ledger and monitor aged debt.
  • Provide administrative support to the Finance team as needed.
