Summary: The Senior Finance Manager will oversee local and international finance teams within a professional services organization on a 3-month contract in Birmingham. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a finance team, providing guidance and support to three direct reports and indirect oversight of wider teams in Birmingham and the EU.
- Manage pricing strategies, bids, and tenders to ensure optimal financial outcomes for multiple contracts within the service organisation sector.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client issues, concerns, and challenges, ensuring all matters are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Drive project work related to data migrations, facilitating the seamless transition of clients from one system to another with minimal disruption.
- Lead the re-development of an IFRS16 reporting tool previously implemented, ensuring compliance with current standards and best practices.
- Support the team through periods of change, particularly during leadership transitions and until permanent backfill is in place.
- Monitor financial performance across contracts, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective strategies.

Key Skills:
- Fully Qualified (e.g. ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
