Summary: This role is for a Senior Finance Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract at Deliveroo, focusing on overseeing month-end reporting and financial controls within the expanding Finance team. The position requires dynamic and analytical thinkers to support the business's growth, reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller. The role involves managing a small team and leading local audits while exploring automation to enhance finance processes. The position operates on a hybrid working model from the London HQ.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and review the month-end reporting for assigned regions.
• Collaborate with financial reporting managers and finance teams to ensure timely month-end completion across the Group.
• Ensure operational and documented financial controls across the business.
• Lead local audits and contribute to Group audits and regulatory inspections.
• Oversee preparation and filing of local statistics.
• Provide technical accounting guidance with a strong understanding of IFRS.
• Manage a small team, focusing on performance management and development.
• Lead ad hoc projects related to finance processes.
• Explore automation opportunities to improve finance team operations.

Key Skills:

• ACA / ACCA or equivalent qualification with at least 4 years of post-qualified experience.
• Relevant industry or startup experience preferred.
• Ability to use big data for problem-solving.
• Netsuite experience is a bonus.
• Flexible with a positive, 'can do' attitude.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work across various departments.
• Ability to simplify complex accounting information for non-accountants.
