Summary: The Senior Finance Business Partner role involves taking ownership of the financial position for a major Technology Practice within a Global Business Intelligence company. The position requires strong analytical skills and collaboration with technology leadership to drive business performance through effective financial management. This is a 6-month contract role based in London, requiring a mix of on-site and remote work. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in finance business partnering, particularly within technology sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take end-to-end ownership of the financial position for a major Technology Practice (c. £50 million budget)
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and insightful analysis
  • Partner with Technology leadership to build and deliver business plans and the 3-Year Plan model
  • Enhance and improve financial systems and reporting tools (SAPFC, TM1, Excel add-ins)
  • Provide clear, actionable commentary and variance analysis for stakeholders
  • Manage and develop a Senior Finance Business Analyst, and contribute to the leadership team
  • Ensure robust governance, controls, and compliance with Group Finance policy

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner, ideally supporting technology teams and managing projects at group level
  • Strong cost control, budget management, and financial leadership skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities, including with non-finance colleagues
  • Proactive, independent, and analytical approach-able to challenge and influence constructively
  • Comfortable with financial systems (SAP, TM1, or similar)-TM1 experience is a plus
  • Recognised professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)

Are you an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner with a passion for technology and a knack for driving business performance? We're looking for a proactive, analytical, and collaborative professional to join our client who are a Global Business Intelligence, Publications and Events company on a 6-month contract.
