Summary: As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will lead financial support for the Property Directorate, collaborating with senior management to drive decision-making and achieve business objectives. Your role encompasses financial planning, reporting, and governance while managing a small finance team and overseeing key projects. You will ensure compliance with financial policies and controls, providing insightful analysis to support various leadership teams. Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Property Directorate and engage with senior stakeholders across various teams.
  • Provide financial analysis, insight, and commentary to support decision-making for leadership teams and committees.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Coordinate the budget setting process and ongoing forecasting for property-related expenditures.
  • Lead service-specific projects ensuring effective financial management and governance.
  • Drive finance transformation and system development for efficiency improvements.
  • Maintain robust financial controls and governance in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Manage and develop a small finance team, supporting the delivery of the people plan.

Key Skills:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA).
  • Experience in property management accounts or partnering roles.
  • Strong technical expertise in management accounting, budgeting, and financial control.
