Summary: The SF Recruitment is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner for a service provider in Nottingham. Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet regularly with budget holders, assessing financial performance and providing advice on financial management information.
  • Act as the primary finance contact for multiple business units, working closely with key stakeholders to provide insightful analysis including budgetary performance, revenue and cost forecasting, and customer profitability.
  • Support year-end financial reporting and assist in the preparation of future year budgets.
  • Produce monthly financial reports for the Financial Controller, summarizing financial performance and explaining variances.
  • Work with senior managers to prepare business cases and bids for new business or service re-design.
  • Influence stakeholders, justifying and implementing change where required.

Key Skills:

  • CIMA/ ACCA qualified (or equivalent) - Preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills to establish and maintain positive relationships with the finance team and key stakeholders.
  • Presence, gravitas, and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles and legislation related to budgetary control and financial management.
  • Experience with computer-based accounting systems and general ledger ERP systems.
  • Understanding of the general ledger and its feeder systems and coding structures.
  • Previous experience in a Management Accounting environment.

The SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Business Partner for a service provider in Nottingham. This is a fantastic new opportunity to join a growing business that is becoming the market leader in their field:

Key responsibilities include:

  • The successful candidate will meet regularly with budget holders, assessing financial performance and providing advice on financial management information.
  • Primary finance contact for multiple business units, working closely with key stakeholders to provide insightful analysis that includes budgetary performance, up to date revenue and cost forecasting, customer profitability, alongside month end reporting.
  • Support year-end financial reporting as well as assisting in the preparation of future year budgets
  • Producing monthly financial reports for the Financial Controller, summarising financial performance and providing explanations of variances
  • Work with senior managers to prepare business cases and bids for new business or service re-design
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, justifying and implementing change were required

Key Competencies:
