Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business leaders to plan and deliver key research and development initiatives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for assigned portfolios.
- Develop financial models, investment appraisals, and business cases to support strategic decision-making.
- Drive cost control and compliance, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Influence key stakeholders with data-driven insights, balancing financial sustainability with long-term impact.
Key Skills:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience.
- Proven expertise in business partnering & stakeholder management ideally within the charity/non-profit sector.
- Highly analytical mindset with strong financial modelling skills.
- Ability to translate financial data into strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to influence at all levels.
- Preferred: Experience in financial management of projects, particularly in clinical trials or drug development.
