Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership of all financial matters for a senior functional directorate.
- Provide commercial decision support and ensure robust delivery of core finance processes, including month end, forecasting, planning, reporting, and project accounting.
- Act as a proactive advisor to senior leaders, clarifying complex decisions and highlighting opportunities and risks.
- Build strong relationships and provide visible financial leadership within the leadership team.
- Contribute to key forums and shape outcomes to improve performance.
Key Skills:
- Professionally qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with at least two years' post qualification experience.
- Strong background in commercial finance within a retail or consumer-focused environment.
- Proven experience in finance business partnering and supporting senior stakeholders.
- Understanding of business drivers, profitability, and decision support modelling.
- Hands-on experience with month end, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to challenge constructively.
- Experience leading or managing others and contributing to cross-functional projects.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.

They are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join them on a fixed term basis and provide strong commercial leadership during a critical period of delivery and change.
This role sits within the wider Finance Directorate and plays a central part in supporting a functional leadership team to make informed, commercially sound decisions. It blends strategic business partnering with hands on financial leadership, balancing insight, challenge and delivery in a fast moving environment.
About the role

You will act as a proactive advisor and sounding board to senior leaders, bringing clarity to complex decisions and highlighting both opportunities and risks. Through strong relationships and visible financial leadership, you will become an Embedded member of the leadership team, contributing to key forums and shaping outcomes that improve performance.
This is a role for someone comfortable operating at pace, able to switch between strategic thinking and detailed delivery, and confident leading both people and process.
About you
You will be a professionally qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with at least two years' post qualification experience and a strong background in commercial finance within a retail or consumer focused environment.
