Summary: The Senior Finance Analyst role is a fixed-term contract position based in London, focusing on financial planning, reporting, and project performance within a dynamic, project-driven environment. The successful candidate will work closely with finance and operational teams to enhance financial visibility and support commercial decisions. This position requires a proactive approach to budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and project accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Analyse project performance and deliver variance insights
- Reconcile financial and project data systems
- Monitor timesheet accuracy and utilisation
- Partner with stakeholders to improve cost control
- Drive efficiencies through better processes and reporting
Key Skills:
- Part-qualified accountant or QBE (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA)
- 3+ years' experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or project accounting
- Experience in project-based sectors (e.g. creative, construction, engineering) desirable
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
- Experience with project systems (e.g. Rapport or similar) preferred
