Summary: The Senior Finance Analyst role in Basra, Iraq, involves supporting the financial reporting team and inventory management through variance analysis, transaction monitoring, and reporting. Key Responsibilities:

• Run variance analysis monthly and quarterly.
• Run analysis of actuals for chart of accounts.
• Run and analyze aging reports.
• Monitor transactions in the Maximo Inventory system to ensure proper recording.
• Ensure current inventory balances are analyzed, reconciled, aged, and actioned.
• Review balance sheet accounts and raise inconsistencies.
• Ensure timely and properly supported inventory transactions.
• Support the team in performing stock counts and summarizing results.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis as required by the business.

Key Skills:

• Experience in the Oil and Gas industry or with international companies.
