Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse patient cohort with cystic fibrosis, primary ciliary dyskinesia, and bronchiectasis.
- Develop understanding and experience in managing co-morbidities associated with chronic lung diseases.
- Participate in inpatient and outpatient care, including attendance at multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Review and action test results and manage team workload alongside junior clinical fellows.
- Engage in clinical trials and develop personal research interests.
- Contribute to the educational framework and support the training of junior staff.
Key Skills:
- Full registration and a licence to practise with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- MRCP or equivalent qualification.
- Advanced life support certification.
- Experience in respiratory medicine and managing chronic lung diseases.
- Strong communication and liaison skills with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
