Summary: The Senior Executive Assistant role within Nomura's Investment Banking division involves providing comprehensive administrative and logistical support to executive committee members. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and logistical support to IB Executive committee member
  • Manage / coordinate complex calendars, schedule virtual and in-person meetings, coordinate calls / meetings across multiple time-zones
  • Arrange domestic and international travel including itineraries, logistics accommodation, ground transportation, FX and related expense management
  • Prepare, edit and format presentation materials, pitch books and client documentation (e.g. using PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
  • Handle expense processing, invoice processing and reimbursement in line with the firm’s policies
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive client or firm information
  • Support onboarding activities for new hires and assist with their set-up / access as well as maintaining team distribution lists
  • Liaise effectively with internal departments (e.g. Finance, HR, Compliance and IT) to ensure seamless execution of admin tasks
  • Provide general office support by covering other assistant’s bankers during absences
  • Telephone duties including comprehensive messages and screening calls
  • Act as a first point of contact for senior leaders, clients and colleagues, fielding queries, responding to fast moving issues as they arise in the workplace

Role description:

This is a Senior Executive Assistant role for the Investment banking division. Given the nature of the role, the person needs to think quickly to prioritise on urgent tasks and display good time management. The person should demonstrate the ability to use initiative and be resourceful in a very busy demanding role. Previous IB experience would serve well in this role.
