Summary: The Senior Employee Relations Specialist will support a global biopharmaceutical company during a transformative period, focusing on modernizing employee experiences and streamlining processes. This interim role involves working within an International ER Team to provide expertise on various employee relations issues across 40 countries. The position requires a strong understanding of international ER frameworks and HR policies, with a significant emphasis on collaboration and support. The role mandates onsite presence three days a week, with remote work on the remaining days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise on international employee relations issues including performance management, investigations, grievances, disciplinary actions, terminations, reorganizations, and complex leaves of absence.
- Contribute to the development and scaling of the International ER Team as a center of excellence.
- Deliver ER support across 40 countries while aligning service delivery on a global scale.
- Collaborate with the Director of ER and other team members to modernize employee experience and streamline existing processes.
- Understand and apply international ER frameworks, including works councils.
- Maintain sound knowledge of HR policies and practices.
Key Skills:
- Experience in employee relations within a global matrix environment.

- Ability to manage performance issues and conduct investigations.
- Expertise in handling grievances, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
