Key Responsibilities
- Produce highlevel architecture, future/north star and emerging technology views and roadmaps - with a view to start implementing 'ARchitecture as Code'
- Provide architectural guidance, including external expertise on trends and best practice for strategy, principles, standards and guardrails.
- Help with transition states, designs and architecture delivery
- Embedded within the programme and work with workstreams leads to help drive scope, requirements, archiecture and design roadmaps
- Stakeholder engagment both Internal and External involved in the programme
- Responsible for delivering designs, tooling strategy and data delivery patterns
Key Skills & Experience
- Good understanding of the architectural needs and challenges of Commercial banking & Finance
- Influence senior stakeholders across CTO, CIO, Architecture, Engineering and Business teams, providing independent challenge and strategic direction
- Strong architecture skills and ability to apply them to complex business problems
- Genuine desire to do the right thing for the bank as a whole
- Good broad set of modern technical skills
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience
- Enterprise architecture experience
- Ability to lead a small team of Enterprise Architects
- Understanding of Azure and designing systems
- Architecting to support a global business need
