Our Energy Business Unit are delivering the backbone of tomorrow’s energy grid. We’re strengthening our engineering capability to deliver major overhead line (OHL) and transmission projects across the UK. We’re now seeking a Senior Engineering Manager (OHL) to lead engineering delivery across high-voltage transmission schemes from concept to completion.

The Role

Reporting to the Director for Engineering & Technical Services, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of internal and external engineering teams, ensuring engineering deliverables are completed safely, to specification, and in line with project timelines and budgets. You’ll manage large-scale, complex multi-disciplinary projects—especially focused on 400kV and 132kV overhead line systems—contributing to tendering, delivery, innovation, and compliance across the business unit.
