Summary: We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager (SEM) to lead the engineering aspects of a multi-disciplinary contract, ensuring the delivery of optimal solutions that meet client requirements. The SEM will act as the technical authority on HTM compliance and industry best practices, managing safety-critical elements and applying sound engineering principles. This role involves close collaboration with clinical staff and stakeholders, as well as responsibilities in cost estimating, quality enforcement, and emergency response planning for M&E systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a thorough understanding of project and organisational structures.
- Manage design and maintenance changes.
- Optimise document control and knowledge sharing.
- Provide specialist engineering advice and mentor M&E engineers and technicians.
- Contribute to asset lifecycle planning.
- Collaborate with clinical staff, hospital facility managers, and other stakeholders.
- Cost estimating for maintenance and new works.
- Enforce quality policies and lead on-site procedures and inspections.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Support emergency response planning for M&E systems.
- Manage complex multi-disciplinary designs, ensuring scope clarity and avoiding scope creep.
