Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with architectural integrity.
- Highlight risks early, escalate as needed, and support Engineering Managers to realign teams.
- Act as a connector across Core Services product teams, ensuring smooth collaboration.
- Ensure all engineering output aligns with architectural standards.
- Provide guidance on complex technical decisions without taking direct management responsibility.
- Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Owners, and Account Directors to align delivery efforts.
- Facilitate effective ways of working across teams, ensuring priorities and dependencies are clearly understood.
Key Skills:
- Experienced in engineering delivery at scale, ideally in a platform or product-led environment.
- Strong understanding of architecture principles, with the ability to review and influence designs.
- Experience with cloud services (ideally AWS), Infra-as-Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Exceptional at cross-team coordination and prioritisation.
- Comfortable operating as a strategic advisor and delivery lead without direct line management.
- Ability to use data and metrics to inform decisions and align engineering efforts with business goals.
- Extensive stakeholder management experience with a focus on creating alignment across teams.

Core Purpose of the Role: This is a hybrid delivery-focused role sitting between Engineering Management, Principal Engineering, and Delivery Management where you’ll support multiple product teams. Your mission is to ensure delivery excellence across multiple teams, help enforce architecture standards, identify and escalate risks early, and keep engineers aligned to priorities. You will also collaborate closely with a close partner to the brand, acting as a channel and delivery manager to ensure all initiatives are delivered effectively. This is purely a delivery and strategic engineering role — no direct line management is required.
