Summary: The Senior Engineer for Prototype Test Properties will oversee the planning and management of physical prototype test properties for automotive body components. This role involves coordinating the development and delivery of Instrument Panels and Floor Consoles, ensuring alignment with engineering requirements and managing Bills of Materials. The position is contract-based with hybrid working potential and is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall end-to-end coordination and responsibility for two models worth of IP and C assemblies from planning through to delivery.
• Gathering and consolidation of requirements from engineering customers.
• Planning and management of Bills of Materials (BoM) for assemblies, aligning them to required build levels and part maturities.
• Coordination and management of parts ordering, rate and flow, part shortage meetings, and issue resolution.
• Coordination of build planning, rate and flow, and support for property build, resolving issues and coordinating logistics.

Key Skills:

• Automotive Engineering and Automotive testing background.
• Robust and demonstrable Excel skills with understanding of Bills Of Materials (BoMs) and CAD visualisation.
• Project Management with robust cross-functional working experience.
• Automotive engineering build and/or test experience.
• Degree level education desired, but not essential.
