Summary: The Senior Electrical Engineer role based in Derby involves hybrid working with one day per week in the office. The position is focused on electrical and instrumentation design within hazardous environments, particularly in the Offshore Energy or Oil & Gas industry. This role is offered on a contract basis for an initial period of 6-12 months and is classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical and Instrumentation Design within hazardous environments (ATEX, COMPEX, NORSOK)
  • Understanding of PLC (Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley)
  • Experience working within the Offshore Energy or Oil & Gas industry
  • Experience with junction boxes, instruments, isolating equipment, electric motors and control panels
  • Generate E&I documentation such as utilities/cable Schedules, I/O Schedules, Bill of materials, Hazardous Area Schedules, Test Procedures, Lighting Calcs etc

Key Skills:
