Summary: The Senior Electrical Engineer will join the UK engineering team to support a FEED project aimed at debottlenecking a gas plant and its associated gathering network in North Africa. This role involves conducting site surveys, delivering FEED documentation, and providing technical support to the project team. The position requires extensive experience in electrical engineering within the energy sector, particularly in onshore projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys and verify feasibility study results.
- Deliver FEED documentation and prepare ITT scopes of work.
- Provide input and support to the cost estimating team.
- Assist the Electrical Lead with technical and project-related activities.
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience in technical delivery and team leadership within energy sector projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering across Concept, FEED, and/or Detailed Design phases for onshore energy projects.
- Proven experience in power distribution system design, electrical equipment specifications, substation and plant layout design, and electrical surveys for O&G facilities.
- Strong knowledge of IEC standards and industry practices.
- Desirable skills include experience in solar power generation system design and brownfield onshore design experience.

Proven experience in: Power distribution system design Electrical equipment specifications and datasheets Substation, switch room, and plant layout design Electrical surveys for O&G facilities Reviewing and updating power system studies/models Strong knowledge of IEC standards and industry practices.
Desirable Skills
Experience in solar power generation system design for gathering networks. Brownfield onshore design experience.
