Summary: The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will play a pivotal role in the design and delivery of advanced electrical systems for healthcare and pharmaceutical projects. This position is based in a leading Building Services Consultancy known for its innovative designs. The role requires a strong background in electrical building services design, particularly in healthcare and laboratory environments. The position is hybrid, allowing for a flexible working arrangement while contributing to significant projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver technically advanced electrical systems for healthcare and pharmaceutical facilities.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in project delivery.
- Coordinate technical aspects of projects, collaborating with other engineering disciplines.
- Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Amtech for design purposes.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in electrical building services design, particularly in healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
- Strong understanding of LV distribution, lighting, fire alarms, containment, UPS, and control systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Amtech (Trimble ProDesign) or equivalent software.
- Excellent technical coordination and communication skills.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards it is desirable.

The team is currently expanding and seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to take a key role in the design and delivery of technically advanced, compliance-driven projects across the UK, including hospitals, cleanrooms, laboratories, and research centres.
Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical building services design, ideally within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or laboratory environments
- Strong understanding of LV distribution, lighting, fire alarms, containment, UPS, and control systems
