Summary: The Principal EC&I Engineer role requires an experienced professional with over 10 years in electrical, control, and instrumentation engineering within the building services sector. The position is hybrid, necessitating three days a week in the office, and involves working in the Nuclear industry, requiring security clearance. Candidates must be proficient in relevant design software and hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing electrical systems within the building services industry.
- Utilizing AutoCAD, AMTECH, Dialux, and Relux for design tasks.
- Developing Safety, Security, and Building Management Systems.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Maintaining necessary security clearances for the Nuclear industry.
Key Skills:
- 10-15+ years of experience as an EC&I Engineer.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.

- BPSS or SC clearance required; SC or DV clearance preferred.

Essential Requirements:
- 10-15+ years' experience working as a EC&I Engineer
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, AMTECH, Dialux, Relux
- Experience in the electrical design of Safety, Security, and Building Management Systems (e.g. alarms, CCTV, access control, ventilation monitoring).
This is a role within the Nuclear industry so you will be required to hold BPSS or SC clearance to start this position. The ideal candidate will need to hold a UK passport.
The ideal candidate will already hold SC or DV clearance.
