Summary: The Senior DSEAR Engineer will be responsible for leading technical design delivery across various sectors, including Water, Aviation, Defence, and Energy. This role involves managing budgets and transformation projects while ensuring compliance with DSEAR regulations. The position requires a consultative approach with end clients and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. The role is based in multiple UK locations with a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical design delivery for DSEAR projects.
• Manage budgets and transformation projects effectively.
• Consult with end clients to ensure project requirements are met.
• Maintain quality standards throughout the engineering process.
• Apply DSEAR regulations, including risk assessment and area classification.

Key Skills:

• Chartered Engineer status with training in hazardous area determination and risk assessment.
• Experience in leading DSEAR in design delivery, preferably in the water industry or related sectors.
• Strong technical knowledge of DSEAR application, risk assessment, and area classification.
• Understanding of DSEAR legislation, ATEX directives, and CDM regulations.
