Key Responsibilities:
- Advise, shape, and deliver key regulatory workstreams related to Operational Resilience or DORA Testing.
- Engage with senior business, technology, and risk stakeholders.
- Design or lead DORA-aligned testing frameworks and define test strategies.
- Shape resilience controls, frameworks, governance, and testing approaches.
- Complete standard screening requirements including Right to Work, DBS, credit checks, and identity verification.
Key Skills:
- Strong operational resilience background within financial services.
- Hands-on delivery experience aligned to DORA and/or UKCTP.
- Experience designing or leading DORA-aligned testing frameworks.
- Ability to define test strategies, scenarios, traceability, and evidence requirements.
- Understanding of ICT risk, regulatory expectations, and resilience testing.
- Experience engaging senior stakeholders.

Robert Half International (an S&P 500 global staffing provider) is supporting a global consulting firm in sourcing a Senior Consultant with strong expertise in either Operational Resilience (DORA/UKCTP) or hands-on DORA Testing for a major financial services regulatory programme.
The role is suitable for someone who can operate at senior SME level, advising, shaping, or delivering key regulatory workstreams.
Assignment Details* Initial Duration: 6 months
. Location: Hybrid UK (2-3 days onsite depending on client location)
. Day Rate: c. £650 per day via PAYE (plus 12.07% holiday pay - PAYE with employer's NI & tax deducted at source, unlike umbrella companies and no umbrella admin fees)
. Start: ASAP
Path A - Operational Resilience SME (DORA/UKCTP)
. Strong operational resilience background within financial services
. Hands-on delivery experience aligned to DORA and/or UKCTP
. Ability to shape resilience controls, frameworks, governance and testing approaches
. Experienced engaging senior business, technology and risk stakeholders
Path B - DORA Testing SME (Hands-On Delivery)
. Experience designing or leading DORA-aligned testing frameworks
. Ability to define test strategies, scenarios, traceability and evidence requirements
. Understanding of ICT risk, regulatory expectations and resilience testing
. Financial services background essential
