Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing multi-service digital strategies aligned to organisational objectives.
  • Leading the governance, delivery, and continual improvement of complex digital service portfolios.
  • Managing service performance against agreed KPIs, contractual obligations, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Acting as the senior escalation point for service-related issues and risks.
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships and influencing strategic decision-making.
  • Translating business requirements into practical service initiatives and delivery roadmaps.
  • Prioritising and managing service change within Agile environments.
  • Working with internal teams, suppliers, and third-party partners to ensure successful service outcomes.

This is a * Wiltshire * Hybrid based role with an excellent immediate start within a Public Sector organisation working on *Developing and implementing multi-service digital strategies aligned to organisational objectives.*

We are seeking experienced Senior Digital Service Owners to lead the strategy, governance, and delivery of critical digital service portfolios within a complex and highly regulated environment.

These positions offer the opportunity to take ownership of a suite of enterprise digital services, ensuring they continue to meet current and future business needs while delivering measurable value across the organisation.

Initial portfolio focus areas include:

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data and Information Management
  • Engineering, Research, Science & Technology Data Services

The Role

As a Senior Digital Service Owner, you will be accountable for the end-to-end life cycle management of multiple digital services, from strategy development and service design through to operational delivery, continual improvement, and eventual retirement.

Working closely with technical specialists, programme teams, project managers, and senior stakeholders, you will define service roadmaps, establish governance frameworks, monitor service performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing multi-service digital strategies aligned to organisational objectives.
  • Leading the governance, delivery, and continual improvement of complex digital service portfolios.
  • Managing service performance against agreed KPIs, contractual obligations, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
