Summary: The Senior Digital Optimisation Consultant at Royal London Group will play a pivotal role in enhancing the user journey through experimentation and optimisation strategies. This position requires collaboration with marketing teams to identify performance issues and implement A/B and multi-variant tests. The role is highly analytical, focusing on translating digital user behaviour into actionable insights to improve conversion rates across various digital platforms. The consultant will also contribute to the development of digital solutions and best practices within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with UK Marketing and Brand teams to enhance campaign efficiency and digital funnel performance.
  • Identify weak points in the digital experience and support A/B testing across the website journey.
  • Utilise web analytical tools and UX techniques to drive improved conversion rates.
  • Work with stakeholders to deliver production-ready A/B and MVT tests.
  • Ensure correct tagging and tracking of online journeys using GTM.
  • Contribute to an archive of learnings for audience communities.
  • Maintain and monitor conversion dashboards and multichannel funnel tracking.
  • Develop hypothesis and testing methodologies for continual optimisation.
  • Manage the A/B roadmap and provide visibility to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Digital Estate and GTC teams to embed learnings into design standards.

Key Skills:

  • Deep experience in digital conversion optimisation throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in testing tools such as Optimizely and Maxymiser.
  • Understanding of CSS, HTML, and scripts.
  • Knowledge of UX and user behaviour across various devices.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent experiments.
  • Familiarity with digital insights tools like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
  • Knowledge of CMS systems and responsive design experimentation.
  • Technical understanding of analytics tracking with tools like Google Tag Manager.
