What you'll be doing As Senior Digital Marketing Manager / Head of Digital Marketing, you will deliver innovative and audience-focused digital campaigns, including title and channel campaigns, which will enthuse fans and engage influencers. Working across our social media channels, consumer stores, and newsletters, including our romance channel With Love, sci-fi and fantasy imprint Orbit and iconic Virago brand, your campaigns will deliver excellent engagement, strong growth and direct to consumer sales. With a combination of market awareness, careful analysis, and up-to-the minute knowledge of the social media landscape, you will also develop insights that feed into our team’s learnings and digital best practices. You’ll be required to confidently present plans to colleagues in-house and externally to authors and agents, plan and implement organic and paid digital strategies for your titles and our channels, regularly update key stakeholders on channel performance, and collaboratively share knowledge with the wider team.
Who we are looking for We are looking for a passionate, creative and driven digital marketer with demonstrable experience and a proven track record of creating eye-catching content, driving channel growth and leading campaigns. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of current social media best practise, tools and industry guidelines, as well as, experience engaging book communities, outstanding copywriting skills and a honed eye for design. Experience with design tools, including Canva and photoshop, as well as a skill for photography and video content creation will be beneficial. You will have strong experience monitoring and reporting on campaign performance, as well as experience applying both analytics and consumer insight to develop successful campaigns. The ability to multi-task, work calmly in a fast-paced environment and be a strong team player are also vital.

This role can be based at our London, Sheffield, Edinburgh or Bristol office, with a blend of in-office (3 days) and homeworking (2 days) per week.
