Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as a Senior Digital Marketing Manager on a 12 month fixed-term contract. This role is focused on delivering key digital marketing initiatives, including the support of a full website redevelopment, enhancing our HubSpot CRM usage, and refining our email marketing strategy — while overseeing the day-to-day delivery of all marketing activities. The individual will work closely with the technology team and project stakeholders to lead digital transformation efforts. A collaborative relationship with the CEO and senior leadership team will also ensure marketing strategy remains aligned with business goals and growth plans.
Website Redevelopment
- Help lead the complete redesign and delivery of our corporate website.
- Manage the transition from our current developer and select a new platform and partner.
- Ensure the website:
- Meets business and marketing goals
- Delivers strong UX and clear user journeys
- Supports lead generation, social integration, personalisation, and cross-selling
- Collaborate with the technology team, design agency, and wider stakeholders to deliver on time and within scope.
- Establish and report on key website performance metrics post-launch.
CRM Development (HubSpot)
- Build out and refine our CRM strategy using HubSpot to improve marketing performance and customer engagement.
- Develop workflows and automation to support campaigns, lead generation, segmentation, and reporting.
- Work closely with the technology team to ensure integration and optimisation across the business.
- Define and track CRM-related KPIs to assess campaign effectiveness, lead conversion, and ROI.
Email Marketing Strategy
- Review, develop and refine email marketing activity across the business.
- Establish a consistent email communications approach aligned to customer journeys and brand tone.
- Create a success framework for email marketing — including engagement tracking, A/B testing, and performance benchmarks.
- Start a clear reporting process to monitor impact and inform future strategy.
Data, Reporting & Success Metrics
- Build a foundation for regular performance reporting across all core marketing activities.
- Define clear KPIs for digital channels, CRM usage, email performance, and website engagement.
- Support data-led decision-making across the team by embedding simple, effective reporting tools and habits.
Team and Marketing Oversight
- Lead and support a high-performing marketing team of two, providing day-to-day management, mentorship, and guidance to ensure delivery against strategic priorities and personal development goals.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of all core marketing activities, ensuring consistency, timeliness, and impact across the following areas:
- Events - Manage the marketing support for key internal and external events, including event promotion, content development, collateral, pre/post event communications, and digital presence. Ensure events align with business goals and support lead generation or brand awareness as appropriate.
- Publications - Oversee the production and distribution of company publications, including editorial planning, content development, design coordination, proofreading, and ensuring brand consistency and messaging alignment.
- PR and Media - Work with relevant partners or in-house resources to manage media relations, support press opportunities, develop press releases, and maintain a strong and consistent media presence that supports the brand and business priorities.
- Internal Communications - Ensure regular and effective communication with employees that supports engagement, transparency, and company culture. Collaborate with senior leaders to shape messaging and communication cadence.
- Drive quality and consistency across all marketing outputs, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, tone of voice, and visual identity standards.
- Monitor team workload and prioritisation, helping balance long-term strategic work with short-term tactical needs and business-as-usual activity.
- Encourage innovation and continuous improvement, supporting the team in testing new ideas and staying up to date with marketing best practices.
