This contract role, lasting nine months, involves managing the selection and operation of principal contractors while ensuring project transparency and adherence to quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Initial scoping works to identify risks and develop programme of works.
- Liaising with the development team to construct the bid.
- Tendering works to specialist contractors for major works (remediation, infrastructure, and build) ensuring legal aspects are watertight and mitigate risk.
- Developing strategy for future sites identifying risk, constraints, and opportunity.
- Managing the developer/contractor interface, maintaining programme and quality adherence (via Employers Agent).
- Working closely with funders, JV partners, end users, and senior management team, ensuring full project transparency.

We are delighted to be instructed to appoint a Senior Development Project Manager on behalf of a well-known housebuilder. They develop large-scale sites containing a broad range of single-family homes. All construction work is undertaken externally, and in this project management role you will manage the selection, appointment and running of the principal contractor.
You will be responsible for:
- Initial scoping works to identify risks and develop programme of works, liaising with the development team to construct the bid
