Summary: Our client is looking for a Senior Development Finance Analyst to provide financial insights and governance for mixed tenure development schemes. This role involves acting as the primary finance contact for regional Development teams, ensuring strong financial control and informed decision-making. The successful candidate will support both private sale and affordable housing programmes. This position is crucial for delivering accurate management reporting and financial analysis across the development portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as finance business partner assigned regions
  • Be the first point of contact for all development finance matters
  • Produce timely and accurate management reporting for your scheme portfolio
  • Represent Finance at monthly scheme progress meetings
  • Support investment appraisals, financial modelling and commercial analysis for new acquisitions
  • Conduct financial due diligence and contribute to investment papers
  • Assess financial and commercial risks, including sensitivity and scenario analysis
  • Monitor finance, tax and control risks across schemes
  • Ensure governance and financial regulations are applied across the development programme
  • Provide cross regional support where required

Key Skills:

  • Qualified Accountant or equivalent
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability
  • Experience in property development finance, including investment appraisal and financial modelling
  • Proven track record of delivering accurate management reporting
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities

Salary (Rate): £330 daily
