Summary: The Senior Developer/Technical Lead role involves providing technical leadership and direction for development teams within a leading Government client. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and set the technical direction for development teams.
- Lead and mentor development teams to ensure high-quality code standards.
- Translate user requirements into technical requirements.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Implement and manage deployment platforms using Kubernetes and/or OpenShift.
- Apply modern DevOps methodologies and technologies.
- Manage automation and configuration using tools like Ansible.
- Communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and software engineers.
Key Skills:
- Significant experience with modern development languages (e.g. Java, Python, Go).
- Ability to lead and mentor development teams.

The role:
A leading Government client is seeking to appoint a Senior Developer/Tech Lead, to provide Technical Leadership and set the technical direction, for highly motivated and talented development teams.
The Role would be London based and active DV Clearance is required. 12-month initial contract (extendable).
Essential Criteria:
- Significant experience of modern development languages (e.g. Java, Python, Go etc) with code written to a common standard.
- Able to lead and mentor development teams.
- Infrastructure as Code
- Cloud technologies (either AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Expertise in translating user requirements into technical requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate with Clients, Senior Management and software engineers
- Experience of using Kubernetes and/or OpenShift as a deployment platform and day-to-day development environment.
- Understanding of and experience with Modern DevOps methodology and technologies.
- Automation/configuration management (i.e. Ansible)
