Senior Python Developer

Summer-Browning Associates is currently assisting our Central Government client, who is looking for a Senior Developer for an initial six-month assignment.

Location: Milton Keynes

Essential Skills: The ideal candidate will hold active SC Clearance and have a proven background in Software Development & Data engineering, showcasing the following skills and experience:

  • Extensive knowledge of Python programming language - Python 3.10 or higher
  • Familiarity with Go or similar programming languages
  • Familiarity of common operating systems, such as Linux/Ubuntu/Debian/Red Hat/ Windows Server 2016 - 2022
  • Experience in VMware platforms & SAN / Backup Storage.
  • Knowledge of database concepts, object and data modelling techniques and design principles and of database architectures, software and facilities.
  • Agile & ITIL Foundation level / relevant experience.
  • Familiarity working in Public Sector or Defence secure environments.
