Summary: The role of ServiceNow Developer involves enhancing the Enterprise Architecture Knowledge Base (EAKB) by leveraging ServiceNow's Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and integrating Ins-Pi plugins. The position focuses on expanding CMDB tables, developing workflows, and supporting data analysis efforts. The role is a 3-month contract with potential for extension, offering a hybrid working arrangement in London. The candidate will be responsible for customizing forms, automating workflows, and generating reports to support business insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and customize Ins-Pi plugin forms within ServiceNow
- Design and implement automated workflows to improve quality and efficiency
- Query and analyse data from the ServiceNow database to support cleansing initiatives
- Develop robust data upload processes for logical CSDM tables
- Prepare and manage update packs for promoting changes from Dev to Production
- Maintain and evolve the automated test suite
- Generate reports to support business insights
- Build dashboards using Platform Analytics for visualizing key metrics
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer
- Strong background in UI design and form development within ServiceNow
- Hands-on experience with Workflows, ACLs, and table relationships
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks proactively
- Skilled in translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Proficient in Jira and Confluence for task and documentation management
- Experience with Ins-Pi plugins is highly desirable

About the role
Our Client is actively enhancing its Enterprise Architecture Knowledge Base (EAKB), leveraging ServiceNow for its Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and integrating Ins-Pi plugins to support logical architectural modelling. So, we’re seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support the continued development of the EAKB platform. This role will focus on expanding CMDB tables and attributes, building intuitive UI forms, developing workflows, and supporting data analysis and cleansing efforts.
Roles and Responsibilities:
To be successful in the role, the role holder will be expected to:
- Enhance and customize Ins-Pi plugin forms within ServiceNow
- Design and implement automated workflows to improve quality and efficiency
- Query and analyse data from the ServiceNow database to support cleansing initiatives

This is 3 months contract.(with potential for extension) A daily rate, in-scope IR35, of £500-600(PAYE) OR £550-650 (via a Hays Approved Umbrella Company). This role provides a hybrid working(3 days a week) access in Waterside, London
